Service Design = Service Delivery

Why would a parent drive their child 15 miles one way, each day to school when they could go to a school right by them? Simple. Some schools know the importance of connecting service design, or ideas, with service delivery, or real results. In retrospect, why would a large district not work with its schools on building a program to increase graduation rates to 100 percent? Simple. Some schools do not understand how each site can individually contribute specifically to that cause.

Most school systems are actually a system of schools. The elementary school does not talk to middle school, or the middle school to the high school. Most Districts struggle because they have no single design. Made up of silos and separate schools, each Administrative member sometimes reinforces this model through their language and behavior. Districts say they have an integrated PreK-12 curriculum, a "growth mindset," and are "driven" by the student. But how many districts are living up to this mindset?

Service Design = Service Delivery is built on a strong, trusting, and team-based culture. From that foundation, administrators focus on employee engagement and consistent, quality service within and without the school walls. From there, administrators build the customer satisfaction and loyalty.

This free webinar will explore the "what" and "how" of Service Design in districts-from vision to execution. As Thomas Edison once said, "Vision without execution is hallucination."
